National Media Accreditation Application
Event: Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix 2026
We are pleased to confirm that applications for media accreditation to the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, taking place between May 1-3, 2026, are now being received.
The deadline to apply for accreditation is Friday, March 13th.
For those applying as individuals, or editors on behalf of others, please be advised that there are criteria set by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA) that must be met to be considered for accreditation. These criteria are outlined below and here, which must be completed in the following form.
FIA Criteria
- Professional media entity that reports in the United States only
- Coverage devoted to Formula 1/ Motorsport/ Sport
- Print circulation with a minimum of 20,000 copies (weekly or monthly), or if daily, a minimum of 50,000 copies
- Online viewership with a minimum of 250k unique users per month
- Confirmation of the publication frequency and type
- Editor/ Sports editor contact information
- Contact details for the person to be accredited
Required attachments must include:
- A formal request on headed paper, signed by the editor or senior team member (template provided)
- Sample(s) of publication/proof of coverage
- Representative’s ID photo
- Press card – if available
All applications are reviewed and approved or declined by the FIA. Applicants will be notified of the decision around 15 days prior to race weekend. Please note that we cannot guarantee every applicant will be successful.
